DRAFT Review

What is DRAFT?

DRAFT is one of the newest DFS providers out there and they truly have one of the most unique products in the industry. Unlike most salary-based DFS sites, DRAFT offers just that, drafts. We’ll go over that more in this review but it’s truly one of the most fascinating DFS products out there.

Signing Up

DRAFT makes it super easy to sign up, as you can actually use your FanDuel account to get into DRAFT. It will simply ask you for your FanDuel username and password and automatically create an account for you with that information. If you don’t have a FanDuel account, you can make a DRAFT account with your Facebook username and password. There’s also a standard fill out method and it can be done in less than 60 seconds.

Like most DFS sites, DRAFT does deposits and withdrawals through PayPal. That’s actually their only method to deposit but they also offer E-Checks for anyone withdrawing money.

Home Page

The home page is extremely accessible and it mimics that of many DFS sites. Everything you need to know is right there and getting into a contest is as easy as one or two clicks.

Getting Started

This page tells you pretty much everything you need to know about DRAFT!

As you can see, you get an automatic $3 ticket when you make your first deposit and there’s a money back guarantee. That’s something that not many DFS sites are offering and it truly allows you to test the product before depositing too much money.

Offerings (Games/Sports)

DRAFT offers a variety of different sports which include NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and Golf.

What’s also interesting about DRAFT is the fact that they have different contests based on your experience. There are contests for beginners and for experienced players. They actually have a matching process to make sure that people are playing with others in a similar skill level and that’s quite beneficial considering all of the sharks that swim the waters in places like FanDuel and DraftKings. DRAFT truly caters to everyone and it can be a profitable endeavor for any level of experience.

Contest Types

There are a ton of different ways to play on DRAFT too and we’ll leave these screenshots here to explain what is available.

These aren’t the only offerings though, as DRAFT has been doing Best Ball drafts too. This is a season-long draft where you simply do a normal snake draft and allow your players to perform throughout the season. Their best games are compiled and the worst ones are eliminated. This has become a very fun way to avoid the duds that come with season-long leagues and it’s steadily becoming a very popular fantasy format.

Building a Lineup

Here is a screenshot of what a draft looks like on the mobile app.

As you can see, it’s just like a season-long fantasy draft. Unlike most sites where you use a salary, this is your chance to grab a player whenever you want. Roster construction is totally different from its DFS counterparts too. For example, you only draft one pitcher, two infielders and two outfielders for baseball. That means it’s just as much about the draft as it is the players and that’s what really gets people intrigued by DRAFT’s unique product.

Social Media

The Social media presence at DRAFT is amazing and they do a great job of connecting with their customers. One thing that they understand is that this is a phone-heavy society and they’ve made DRAFT extremely accessible through your mobile device. That’s why so many people have shifted over to DRAFT and the app makes things so much easier on its users. You can draft there and do pretty much anything that’s on the desktop, which is one thing that keeps DRAFT users coming back.

DRAFT is easily one of the most unique DFS formats out there and it really caters to the people that don’t want to use a salary format. It’s more for the DFS players who have grown up playing season-long fantasy and prefer to draft their players like they do in their home leagues. There aren’t many other sites offering this and it’s obvious that DRAFT has captured this demographic that wants something more than just the standard DFS grind. Those types of players may also enjoy Monkey Knife Fight as well, as they are setting new trends in Prop Gaming.
